Saint-Jacques-de-Montcalm
- First, a parish founded in 1770 and named Saint-Jacques-de-la-Nouvelle Acadie by the first Acadians arrived from Boston, USA after the deportation of 1755. Then renamed Saint-Jacques-de-l'Achigan in 1774 and was shortened to St- Jacques from 1917. Saint-Jacques is a municipality of Quebec, Montcalm County, located in the Lanaudière region, 67 km east of Montreal.
